I am incredibly pleased with the white lamp base and red gingham shade. It is exactly what I wanted and everything is as it was described on the advertisement. The shade is a really nice size and shape, and both it and the lamp base are very nicely finished off.  The little ledge a third of the way down the base is ideal for hanging padded hearts.
